hello.

It has been quite a while and 2015 was rather a lean blogging year...but here I am, full of good intentions for 2016!

My wee girls enjoyed a day out with granny and grandpa last week, which included a visit to the play, talk, read bus. They were very pleased to leave with a cute bus bag and a new book.  Upon further inspection I discovered the bag also contained a set of the wee finger puppets I illustrated last year. smile.

Happy December!

As usual December is zipping by and it will be Christmas day in a minute.  I really better get some cards written and throw some tinsel around the place asap..  I've been enjoying getting stuck in to some advent designs for next year as you can see from this cosy wee fellow : )

latest books

I worked on these 4 little vehicle books when I was pregnant with Molly and received copies recently.  It is a really lovely moment when you finally get to hold your finished book/s in your hands. It was my first time working with Scholastic which I thoroughly enjoyed - very nice people : )

sticker book

It has been a few months since I was working on this christmas sticker book for m+s so was very excited to receive a few copies through the post recently.  Some serious festive sticking will be going on in our house very soon : )

long lost illustrator.......

hello!

as some of you may (or may not) have noticed, there has been a glaring lack of posts on this blog for quite, quite, quite some time now.  i will not make excuses, other than the one pictured above..  her name is molly, she arrived 14 months ago and is fairly adept at commanding my attention.  life with two is HECTIC. but a lot of fun. and hectic.

so anyway, i'll blame the baby and leave it at that.
oh and it's nice to be back : )

animation!

One of my James Ellis card designs has been turned into a little animation by jeego for a phone app.  I've always thought it would be exciting to see my stuff animated so I'm really chuffed with this : )

It has been quite some time indeed since I last paid my blog any attention, so I'm very glad to finally be able to share my new children's card range for James Ellis, fresh from the printers today :)

I'm working on a lovely board book project at the moment and hope to be able to show you some sneaky peaks soon....
